PepsiCo Game Fuel for gamers; CBDx ready for 'explosive' demand with gummies; Kali's Hemp4Mula starts with gum; and Vitamin Packs has nutrition portal for physicians.

Vitamin Packs Inc. has launched an online portal, Vitamin Packs Pro powered by Persona, providing medical practitioners with nutritional assessment and dietary supplement analysis for their patients, the Seattle firm announced Dec. 6. The portal, which allows physicians to cross-reference more than 650 prescription medications to avoid risky drug-nutrient interactions, is debuting at the Cleveland Clinic's Dr. Michael Roizen’s Preventative and Integrative Medicine Longevity Conference in Las Vegas Dec. 7-9. Developed in collaboration with Roizen, Cleveland Clinic chief wellness officer and chair of its personal medical advisory board, Vitamin Packs Pro uses a proprietary algorithm that considers input on lifestyle and nutrition habits while examining potential medication interactions to recommend therapeutic-levels of vitamin and mineral supplements for each consumer. Products are delivered to consumers through the company’s subscription service.

MTN DEW AMP Game Fuel is the first drink created specifically for gamers, PepsiCo Inc. brand Mountain Dew announced Dec. 6. The 90-calorie per-serving beverage contains ingredients shown to improve accuracy and alertness, including vitamins and caffeine, says the Purchase, N.Y.-based firm, which also owns the Gatorade sports drink brand
