Germany Approves Trilogy Of Switches

Three prescription-to-OTC switches approved in Germany: Levocetirizine for oral use, diclofenac for use as a patch, and preparations containing sodium bituminosulfonate and hydrocortisone acetate.

Germany’s Federal Council, the Bundesrat, has given the green light to three prescription-to-OTC reclassifications, following their recommendation by the country’s Expert Advisory Committee for Prescription last year.
