When it comes to China, for Herbalife Nutrition Ltd. it can be said to be the best of times and the worst of times. The Los Angeles-based direct seller on 29 October announced its third-quarter reported net sales were flat, up 0.1%, at $1.2bn, but "excluding China, net sales increased 6.1%."
