Court Ruling On Perrigo Appeal Of Nearly $2Bn Irish Tax Debt From Elan Deal Due With Q3 Results

Perrigo says on 4 November, Irish High Court will publish decision from a trial on the firm’s challenge to Irish Office of the Revenue Commissioners’ order to pay additional taxes from its acquisition of Elan. Perrigo moved its Q3 earnings briefing scheduled for 8 a.m. EDT the same day to 4:30 p.m.

An Ireland court’s pending decision on invalidating the country’s nearly $2bn tax levy against Perrigo Company PLC already is having an impact as the OTC private label giant delays its next quarterly results briefing more than eight hours because the ruling is expected the same day.

Dublin-based Perrigo on 29 October announced the Irish High Court’s decision will be published on 4 November following a trial during June on the firm’s challenge to the Irish Office of the Revenue Commissioners’ 2018 order to pay additional taxes
