The late-stage pipeline for the common condition of overactive bladder may be sparse, but the early-to-mid stage pipeline holds potential for new treatment options in the future – and the population is growing.

Overactive bladder refers to the frequent need to urinate – more than eight times per day or more than once at night – and a sudden need to urinate, or urinary urgency, according to the US National Association For Continence (NAFC)
