Fuji Pharma Invests US$50 Million In Alvotech

Japanese firm Fuji Pharma has acquired a minority stake in Alvotech for around US$50 million, shortly after the firms entered an exclusive agreement to develop and supply the latter’s biosimilars portfolio in Japan.

Fuji Pharma has acquired a 4.2% stake in Alvotech for approximately US$50 million, in a move that “further strengthens the partnership between the companies and reflects long-term commitment” from both firms.
