Enactment Of ‘Fixed’ USMCA Welcomed By AAM

The US Association for Accessible Medicines has welcomed the final action needed for the US-Mexico-Canada trade agreement to become US law.

The US-Mexico-Canada trade agreement has now become law in the US after being signed by president Donald Trump. Replacing the previous North American Free Trade Agreement, the USMCA deal – sometimes referred to as ‘NAFTA 2.0’ – sets a “new gold standard for free trade agreements,” according to the US Association for Accessible Medicines.
