IGBA Backs Global Coronavirus Initiative

'Landmark' Collaboration Project Launched By WHO

The IGBA has lent its backing to the Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator initiative launched by the WHO that is aimed at speeding the development and production of – as well as access to – essential health technologies for addressing the coronavirus pandemic.

A global initiative launched by the World Health Organization aimed at speeding the development and production of essential health technologies for addressing the coronavirus pandemic, as well as ensuring “equitable global access” to these technologies, has received the backing of the International Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association.
