Buoyed by strong demand caused by COVID-19 induced stockpiling, including for its range of generic products, Finland’s Orion enjoyed double-digit growth in the first quarter. However, this trend will ease off through the year, the company says.

Finnish player Orion forecasts that the self-described “temporary spike” in demand for its range of products caused by the COVID-19 pandemic will “level off in the course of the year,” as sales and profit soared in the first three months of 2020.
