Industry trade group Medicines for Ireland has highlighted the growing risk to the country’s medicines supply as inflation, energy and transport costs continue to rise while global supply chain disruptions persist. Ireland’s Health Products Regulatory Agency currently lists 180 products as being in shortage, a situation Medicines for Ireland said has potential to “significantly worsen” without intervention.
