Two bipartisan bills – the Preserving Access to Affordable Generics and Biosimilars Act and the Stop STALLING Act – submitted by US Senators Amy Klobuchar (D/MN) and Chuck Grassley (R/IA) have passed the Senate Judiciary Committee by voice vote. The measures will now be placed in the Senate’s executive calendar to await action by the full Senate.
Iterations of both bills have been introduced in previous Congresses but have failed to reach the stage where they would be signed into law
