Generics And Biosimilars Body Points To ‘Illogical’ Exclusion From UK Government Talks

UK generics and biosimilars industry association the BGMA has been denied in its bid to overturn a government decision to exclude it from formal negotiations over the VPAS rebate scheme.

The British Generic Manufacturers Association has described as “extremely disappointing” a UK court decision to dismiss its bid to be formally included in negotiations over the country’s Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing and Access rebate mechanism, which along with original brands also covers branded generics and biosimilars.
