The Medicines Patent Pool continues its mission to increase access to medical products, especially for the treatment of infectious diseases, in low- and middle-income countries.

This time, the UN-backed organization has released a joint article with global health initiative Unitaid, the non-profit International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, and the charitable foundation Wellcome, exploring challenges
