Diagnostics company Viracor-IBT Laboratories Inc. has acquired Cylex Inc., a privately held firm that sells an immune system function test. The purchase price was not disclosed, but industry sources report that the value of the deal is less than half of the $32mm in venture funding that was put into Cylex since inception. (Feb.)
