Prop 65 warnings under OEHHA’s updated regulations can be transmitted through various methods to be considered clear and reasonable, with possible advantages and drawbacks to each approach. The agency announced the final rule Sept. 2 after a number of proposals and comment periods over the past two years.

Personal-care companies have choices to make about how they warn consumers about potential exposure to substances “known to the state of California” to cause cancer or reproductive harm under updated Prop 65 regulations.

France's food safety regulator ANSES is proposing a reproductive toxicity category 1B classification for CBD under the EU's CLP regulation, which would mean an effective ban on CBD in cosmetics and foods.
