California's Department of Toxic Substances Control aims to release a draft work plan in February for its Safer Consumer Products program, and Beauty, Personal Care and Hygiene will remain a listed category of focus for the next three years, a DTSC official confirmed.

France's food safety regulator ANSES is proposing a reproductive toxicity category 1B classification for CBD under the EU's CLP regulation, which would mean an effective ban on CBD in cosmetics and foods.
