Sunscreens Among 50 Private Label, Store Brand Products Recalled by CMO

FDA's recalls database update includes 50 products made by Product Quest that were recalled on Aug. 3 and deemed Class II recalls on Oct. 16. Also added to the database recalls of three Royal Family Makeup Remover Wipes SKUs; dandelion herbal remedies by Tarry Medical Products; and a namesake brand protein bar by Quest Nutrition.

Store brand sunscreens, lip balms and other skin care products are among the 50 OTC drugs contract manufacturer Product Quest Manufacturing LLC is recalling due to microbial contaminations, super- or sub-potency or quality-control problems.
