California’s Department of Toxic Substances Control is going straight to the source for data regarding nail products sold in the state via an information call-in, with a 20 December deadline for responses.
The DTSC, which administers the state’s Safer Consumer Products (SCP) program, already has proposed nail products containing toluene and nail products containing methyl methacrylate as potential Priority Products for alternatives assessments and, ultimately, bans, restrictions or other risk management measures
