Nestlé Weighing Acquisition Of The Bountiful Company

Nestlé is in talks to acquire "all or part" of The Bountiful Company, owners of the Nature's Bounty brand and a leading player in the US supplements market. The Swiss firm revealed its interest in The Bountiful Company shortly after reporting double-digit growth at its Health Science business in Q1.

Nestlé is weighing up a deal for nutrition, health and wellness firm The Bountiful Company – formerly known as The Nature's Bounty Co. – to significantly expand its dietary supplements offering in the US and internationally.

Following media reports that the Swiss food and drinks giant was in talks to acquire Ronkonkoma, NY-based The Bountiful Company for a price in the mid-single-digit billions, Nestlé issued a short statement
