Blackstone Labs LLC’s sales director was sentenced to more than four years in prison as the final defendant convicted on criminal charges after the firm ignored a US Food and Drug Administration warning that dietary supplements it was selling contained steroid drugs.

James Boccuzzi, convicted in December and sentenced on 11 March to 51 months’ incarceration, and other Blackstone management and staff faced criminal charges of conspiring to defraud the FDA
