The US hearing aid industry fails to reach much of its potential market with devices available only by prescription, says Christian Gormsen, CEO of Eargo Inc., which is anxious for the Food and Drug Administration's publication of a final rule for OTC sales of hearing aids for mild to moderate hearing loss.
