Clinical Skin announces it has acquired Glytone, a skin-care brand owned by French company Pierre Fabre Laboratories, known for its innovative dermatological solutions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “Having benefited from Pierre Fabre Laboratories’ unsurpassed capabilities in dermo-cosmetics solutions for 20 years, Glytone has built a reputation for delivering clinically proven skin-care formulations designed to address various dermatological concerns, including aging, hyperpigmentation and the treatment of acne,” Hackensack, NJ-based Clinical Skin says in a 5 March release. The Glytone line includes dozens of products categorized by concerns including fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne-prone skin, dry, rough skin, and premature aging.

“The acquisition aligns perfectly with our mission to continue to scale our offering of skin-care solutions that are firmly backed by science and innovation,” notes Clinical Skin, which merges medical-grade formulas with spa-like luxury in its own line of products featuring its A.C.E. Technology, a proprietary blend of antioxidants, ceramides, and enzymes, to fight signs of aging and prevent future damage, according to its website.
