Kenvue Inc. has appointed Andrew Stanleick president, Skin Health & Beauty for North America and Europe, Middle East and Africa, tasked with leading the strategic direction of iconic brands Neutrogena, Aveeno and OGX, the Skillman, NJ-based company reports 4 November. Stanleick previously served as president and CEO of BeautyHealth Company, a global category-creator in skin health and has worked for Coty America. His appointment coincides with Kenvue’s third quarter earnings presentation, in which the firm reported Skin Health & Beauty organic sales slipped 4.2% on a reported basis (2.7% organically) to $1.07bn. “In the US, our playbook is not yet delivering the results we want to see and the pace of recovery was hindered this quarter by muted sun season and decelerating skin care category dynamics,” CEO and Director Thibaut Mongon said during the 7 Nov. presentation. The Chinese market also remains challenging, he said.
