The current Democrat majority on the Federal Trade Commission makes clear that a proposed rule change on enforcing against deceptive earnings claims targets the multi-level marketing sector. However, Republican members match the Democrats’ clarity saying they’ll reconsider the proposal when they have a majority after president-elect Donald Trump takes office.
