EU Member States Propose Broad PFAS Restriction Under REACH

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) number in the thousands, and all are being targeted with a REACH restriction proposal submitted to the European Chemicals Agency by the national authorities of Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.

The EU’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals regulation appears to be coming for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

France's food safety regulator ANSES is proposing a reproductive toxicity category 1B classification for CBD under the EU's CLP regulation, which would mean an effective ban on CBD in cosmetics and foods.
