Celltrion Offers Update On US Tariffs Strategy

Prepared To Move ‘Swiftly’ To Secure Local Production For APIs

In an update to its strategy for dealing with US tariffs, Korea’s Celltrion has revealed actions taken so far, as well as outlining plans to consider moving “swiftly” to secure US manufacturing for APIs if circumstances demand.

With the threat of US tariffs continuing to hang over the pharmaceutical industry – facing pushback from all corners, including from within the US – Korea’s Celltrion has been one of the most vocal off-patent firms in terms of outlining how it might seek to mitigate the impact.
