With many big pharmas anxious to fill their portfolios with new commercial sellers and biotechs running low on cash, 2025 is expected to be a big year for deals and M&A across the biopharma sector. But the year appears to be off to a slower-than-expected start and experts at the BIO CEO & Investor Conference predicted the big M&A boom may be delayed until the second half of the year.
