UK Being Edged Toward The EU's Back Door – Is It So Simple?

The UK is preparing to move forward with a Great Repeal Bill next year as part of its break from the EU, but as the weeks pass, it seems that the Brexit process is becoming less and less straightforward.

The UK's ruling Conservative Party said last month at its annual conference in Birmingham that it will table a Great Repeal Bill in parliament to end the authority of EU law in the UK, post Brexit. That is likely to happen in 2017, but the bill would not come into force until the UK has concluded an EU withdrawal agreement and left the EU.
