Cipla Fortifies Iran Plans

Cipla has firmed up a joint venture in Iran – a market where it hopes to maintain leadership position despite some tension surrounding the nuclear deal between the P5+1 global powers and the Middle Eastern nation.

Cipla Ltd. expects to invest around €17m in a joint venture in Iran. The Indian firm has had a long-term business relationship in Iran and appears keen to build further momentum there.
