£80m To Tackle Snakebite Is A Wellcome Boost

Two major initiatives have been announced which hope to revolutionize the treatment of snakebites, which claims the lives of up to 138,000 people a year.

The UK's Wellcome Trust has unveiled an £80m program to transform the way that snakebite, described as "the world’s biggest hidden health crisis," is tackled.
