GSK India Chief On Pandemic Decisions, Refreshing The Portfolio

Sridhar Venkatesh moved from Singapore to take over the top job as managing director at GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in India bang in the middle of the pandemic in 2020.

Flying into India was kind of a “surreal” experience, the executive recalls, referring to the protective attire he donned to make it through safely.
