China is discriminating against EU medical devices producers in bids for public contracts in all medical device categories, according to a European Commission staff working document entitled, Factual finding of the International Procurement Instrument investigation on the procurement market for medical devices in the People’s Republic of China.
EU Considers Hitting Back Against China’s Medtech Protectionism
The European Commission has issued a report on the protectionist medtech policies in China that are impacting imports and is considering measures to protect EU manufacturers.
