The State Of The Industry In Europe – Under New MedTech Forum CEO And Outgoing Chair

The 2023 MedTech Forum attracted record interest from industry delegates in Europe and beyond. Two days of public sessions included the popular “CEOs No Filter” roundtables, where senior sector representatives were given carte blanche to appraise the state of Europe’s industry.

MedTech Europe’s 2023 MedTech Forum was held in Dublin, Ireland, under new chief executive Oliver Bisazza, the association’s former director of regulatory affairs. He had big shoes to fill, leading his first annual MTF after long-standing incumbent Serge Bernasconi announced his planned retirement on stage at the 2022 event in Barcelona, Spain.

Opening MTF 2023 proceedings on 31 May, Bisazza said over a thousand delegates had registered, the largest number since the association began hosting these annual events in 2007.
