PCORI To Narrow Focus On Some Research Projects In 2013

Asthma in African-Americans and other minority populations, preventing falls and treating uterine fibroids are topics likely to be funded by the institute this year.

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute plans to “zero in” on some targeted high priority comparative effectiveness research projects in 2013, as well as continue to fund projects that span a broad range of disease states and populations, according to PCORI Executive Director Joe Selby.
