Medtronic halves external defibrillator sales in US

Medtronic has suspended US shipment of products, including external defibrillators, from the Redmond, Washington facility of its emergency response systems business, Physio-Control. It said the suspension was intended "to address quality system issues in [the] facility that were identified by Physio-Control, Medtronic and the US FDA".
