The Health Industry Manufacturers Association in the US has set up an associate membership category for professional service firms that might want to join the organisation. Associate members paying $10,000 annually will get access to the members-only portion of HIMA's website, invitations to member-only education programmes and discounts on seminars, conferences and exhibits. They will also be able to include detailed information about their company in the resource section of website. The trade group offers additional promotional and advertising opportunities to service firms that pay another $10,000 a year.
