The US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently agreed with diagnostic sponsor T2 Biosystems Inc. that the company’s T2Bacteria panel meets all of the agency’s qualifications for an additional new technology add-on payment (NTAP). It will apply the add-on payment starting in October.
