Audax Private Equity acquired surgical consumable products and related assets from Hill-Rom Holdings Inc. for $170m in cash.
The transaction includes Bard-Parker conventional and safety scalpels and blades, plus additional operating room accessories. About 500 employees will stay with the business. In 2019 on a pro forma basis, the acquired assets are forecasted to be worth $100m in annual revenue
