Post-COVID, Medica in 2022 was still in “recovery mode” after a virtual 2020 event and a hybrid alternative in 2021. But there wasn’t to be a “post-pandemic” rush by the hundreds of Chinese firms that usually make for Düsseldorf every November, with lockdowns and travel restrictions still being enforced as a result of the nation’s zero-COVID policy.

AI systems used in healthcare are vulnerable to adversarial cyberattacks, which are a growing concern, said Atif Azad, a professor of AI at Birmingham City University.
