EHDS Data Sharing Rules Are Good News For Medtech, But Is The Public On Board?

The medtech industry is set to benefit from access to large amounts of patient health data  under the proposed European Health Data Space, but a new report reveals that EU citizens would like more control in how their data are used.

The European Commission’s proposal to introduce a new regulation known as the European Health Data Space (EHDS), has been broadly welcomed by industry. For medtech researchers, the initiative will facilitate the sharing of health data collected from patients across the EU.
