UK £21m Funding To Boost AI Diagnostics Uptake In Hospitals

The UK government has set aside £21 million ($27m) to fund the uptake of artificial intelligence-based medtech tools that can be used to diagnose and treat patients faster in hospitals.

The AI Diagnostic Fund will see National Health Service (NHS) Trusts able to apply for financial support to accelerate the deployment of the latest AI tech in healthcare settings, the UK government announced in a 23 June statement.
