After a long stretch in negotiations, the European Parliament’s Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) and Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice, and Home Affairs (LIBE) have endorsed the EU Artificial Intelligence Act by an overwhelming majority.

Anna Cavazzini, IMCO Chair, congratulated peers on adopting the “first AI Act” in the world.
