Women’s health company leaders are optimistic that President Biden’s executive order to expand research in women’s health will attract attention and funding to address the unmet needs of women going through menopause.

The executive order, signed on 18 March, comes on the heels of Biden calling on Congress to allocate $12bn in new funding to support a women’s health fund for the National Institutes of Health and establish a nationwide network of research centers to serve as “national gold standards for women’s health research
