Novartis AG had an extra year to prepare for the US launch of the high-profile cholesterol-lowering medicine Leqvio (inclisiran) after an initial rejection from the US Food and Drug Administration, and the company has spent that time focused on putting the commercial infrastructure in place to overcome some of the potential roadblocks to uptake.
