M&A Analysis: Feeble Start To 2017

2017 kicked off with 12 medtech M&A acquisitions in January, a decline from the 18 M&A deals recorded in the same month last year, and two fewer than the previous month.

While December 2016 rounded off with a final flurry of M&A activity, deal-making shifted down a gear in the first month of the new year. A total of 12 medtech M&A transactions were announced and recorded on Medtech Insight's M&A Data Tracker in January 2017, a decline from the 18 acquisitions in January 2016 and two fewer than December 2016.
