More Physicians, Patients Using Telehealth To Save Costs, Improve Care

Medical and community care experts briefing senators this week touted telehealth as a viable methodology to control health-care costs and improve patient outcomes.

While telemedicine and telehealth strategies were slow to catch on, improved reimbursement for the methodology is spurring greater adoption among physicians and patients and it is proving to be a good way to cut down on health-care costs.
