New research findings suggest that Big Health’s digital therapy app, Sleepio, designed to help people sleep better, may also be able to address underlying depression in people with sleep problems.
Findings from a sub-analysis study comprising 3,352 participants with clinically significant insomnia disorder and depressive symptoms comparing Sleepio – an unapproved digital sleep improvement intervention based on cognitive and behavioral techniques – to a control group showed that Sleepio users were almost three times more likely to no longer experience significant depressive symptoms
