Insulet Issues Safety Alert On Omnipod 5s Over Burn Risk

Cables and the charging port for the systems’ controller may overheat due to a poor connection, the company said.

Charging ports and cables used with Insulet’s Omnipod 5 automated insulin delivery system controller may overheat and pose a burn risk, the manufacturer said in a 14 November safety alert.
