The rising convergence of biopharma, medtech and healthtech, which have traditionally been separate entities, is anticipated to modernize health care, drive innovation and improve health care. During the recent LSX World Congress USA in Boston, leaders from big pharma, biotech, venture capital, telemedicine, and consulting discussed opportunities and challenges in bringing together stakeholders to create change.

Drug companies that are not actively exploring innovative digital health solutions and partnership opportunities risk being left behind, according to Naomi Fried, CEO and founder of PharmStars.
