October 2024 was a critical month in the world of medtech regulations culminating in vote on 23 October at the European Parliament of a Joint Resolution calling on the European Commission to propose urgently, by the end of the first quarter of 2025, the most needed changes to the EU’s Medical Device Regulation in the form of delegated and implementing acts.

The two weeks leading up to the vote had been intense for all stakeholders.
